Overall Shorts

This weekend I busted out my Joe's Jeans overall shorts for the first time EVER! I was so excited to wear them because I bought them on sale last year and hadn't had the chance to put them on until today. They are so cool. There is a festival in the South Bay this weekend to celebrate/mark the end of summer, (*tear...*) so I wore these out to breakfast with a girlfriend. After mimosas and breakfast we biked and walked through the arts and crafts festival. I wore a sleeved shirt because it was in the 80's and I didn't want to get sunburned.

Labor Day Weekend

Happy Labor Day Weekend, everybody!

Here is my Saturday early morning outfit. To be honest it was so hot that I changed after we shot these photos and put on some shorts. It was way too hot even for this beautiful maxi dress! This dress has been one of my favorite things to wear this summer. The material is SO soft, and I love the fun tie dye print in blue, my favorite color.

I love wearing converse with dresses. It feels so beachy and comfortable to me, and really makes me feel like it's summer.

This backpack is the coolest. My mom bought it at a craft fair a few years ago. You have to slide the straps through the top loop in order to unzip the pack, which makes it feel more secure than most backpacks. It also has a back zip pocket for things you need to access more easily, like your phone.
Thanks for reading and have a great rest of your long weekend! Enjoy!

Dressed to the Nines

Here is a snapshot of the date night outfit I wore last week. I love the combination of a white floral tank with a wispy maxi skirt. Sweetheart and I went to dinner (just the two of us) and then to a movie with friends. So fun! Thanks for reading!

Big Sur Weekend

In the beginning of August we went on a camping trip to Big Sur. Big Sur is soo beautiful, and the camping site was pristine, with running water and bathrooms. Here are some shots from our trip that weekend. Thank you for reading!

Whidbey Island Florals

I took these photographs on our Seattle trip. We took a ferry to Whidbey Island for the day. It's such a quaint, cute town! Flowers are one of my favorite things to photograph and I'm really happy with how these turned out.If you happen to know what kinds of plants these are... please share!

Washington Florals

I've always loved photographing nature, even as a kid. Sweetheart loaned me his camera lens for the weekend and I had way too much fun shooting up close and personal with these gorgeous blooms. Every time he turned around I was crouched over some plants snapping away! Please share if you know what kind of flowers and plants these are.

Sweet Seattle Second Annual Trip

The disgustingly famous gum wall in Seattle.

I spent my 25th birthday walking the Streets of Seattle with Sweetheart. We did a food tour of Pike Place Market and the day could not have been any more wonderful. I highly recommend booking with Savor Seattle Food Tours. It was our first time booking with them and we had an amazing experience full of delicious food, sanitary tastings (important, in my book!) fun facts, and an entertaining guide. The tour is professional, organized, informative, and gives you a great walking tour of the market. We even ended up at Etta's for my exquisite birthday dinner because our crab cakes taste on the tour was so good!

Here are some more photos from our Seattle weekend. Enjoy!
